Time has come for me to say goodbye!
It's difficult to find free time during busy season...
So rather than feel obligated to spend hard earned dollars on a sub-par Friday farewell pub meal, I thought it would be nice if my fellow Assurance peers could please make a small donation to a very worthwhile cause.
For those of you who may not be aware, I am a Type 1 Diabetic. No, this doesn't mean I ate too many sweets as a kid!
What it means for Type 1 Diabetics is that through an autoimmune malfunction the pancreas is no longer able to produce insulin. The result of this is continual daily injections and a lifetime of blood tests.
JDRF is an amazing organisation that helps treat and educate those families impacted by this condition.
There is currently no cure, and no way of preventing Type 1 Diabetes and for newly diagnosed suffers this can often mean multiple injections a day.
Six Australians every day receive the life-changing news that they have type 1 diabetes, most of those diagnosed are children.
Your kind donation to JDRF ensures that they can provide the best research outcomes for the Type 1 community in Australia. The more people that know about JDRF, the greater the impact, so please help me by spreading the word and donating a few dollars to help children impacted by this condition.
My sincere thanks if you are still reading this! A big thank you to each and every person who helped make my time at EY so memorable. It's hard to believe 3 years passes so quickly! I look forward to keeping in touch and hearing of every success in future.
Wishing you all the very best!
